At the beginning of 2017, I (Richard Cho: instruction and reference librarian) was determined to read 50 books that year. For this blog post, I selected ten books that left lasting impressions and expanded the mental horizon within me.

Samuel T Barber (Cataloging & Metadata Librarian) takes an experimental excursion to see if a disparate collection of first lines and last lines from various unconnected works of literature can be recited and set to original music in order to create a completely new work.
