National Library Week 2020: Literary Peeps Diorama Contest

Posted in About the Library, Academic Communities, General News, and Visiting the Library

To celebrate National Library Week, April 19-25, 2020, Pollak Library is hosting the 4th Annual Literary Peeps Diorama contest, Coronavirus edition (virtually).

About the Contest

In 2017, we hosted our first Peeps contest with 9 entries that received almost 800 votes from library visitors. Last year we received a whopping 18 entries. Each year we are astounded at the creativity of our students, staff and faculty. We look forward to viewing this year’s creations!

Rules

Contestants need to create literary-themed dioramas using peeps (real or printed) or whatever materials they might have at home. Remember to give your diorama a peeps themed name!

Pictures of your diorama can be sent to @pollaklibrary on Instagram from April 24th to April 26th. The photos will be posted on the Pollak Library’s Instagram page. The top 3 winners will receive gifts cards from BJ’s, Five Guys, or Urban Plates.

  1. Submit a diorama using Peeps (or whatever you’d like) of a scene from your favorite BOOK by DMing your photo to @pollaklibrary on Instagram.
  2. Include the title of your diorama in your message to us.
  3. Entries can be submitted Friday, 4/24 through Sunday, 4/26/2020.
  4. We will be posting each entry on our Instagram page after all entries have been submitted.
  5. The number of likes will determine the winner.

If you have any questions, please email Joy Sage.

Happy Peeping!
