The Pollak Library continues offering virtual services for our Titan community to support all CSUF students, faculty, and staff during this time of uncertainty.
As students, faculty, and staff receive updates from the campus regarding how we continue to navigate the uncharted and unprecedented situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic, many pose questions:
- What happens to books I’ve checked out that go beyond the set due date?
- Where can I get research help for a paper or project?
Though physical access to materials for checking out is temporarily unavailable, all our services have gone virtual and are still available.
Circulation services have been temporarily suspended which extends all due dates on physical materials through August 31st. Should on-site services be suspended longer than August 31st, due dates will be extended accordingly.
During this time, you can still take advantage of our vast eBook collection. Our online offerings are growing as vendors are loosening restrictions and opening up their online collections where we will inform the CSUF community once these materials are available.
All our databases, our online guides, and collection of nearly 1,000,000 eBooks are still available. Databases and Guides can be accessed by clicking on the corresponding icons on the library’s homepage. You can also search for eBooks and articles through OneSearch.
Virtual reference is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can visit our Get Help page for more information.
With the suspension of on-site services at Pollak Library, research consultations are available and can be conducted virtually via Zoom with your subject librarian who are assigned to each academic department or program as a research instruction and collection development liaison.
As we continue this transition to virtual learning and teaching, the Pollak Library is here to support the CSUF community.
