Library student assistant and Communications major Kamille Torres shares tips written from a fellow student’s perspective.
Finals season is upon us, so make sure you cram in those last minute study sessions.
TitanCard: Studying late at night? Make sure to bring your TitanCard after hours, midnight to 6 a.m., to get into the library.
Study Rooms: Group study rooms are a perfect place to study with friends. Head to the 3rd and 4th floors Library North to grab a room on a first come, first served basis.
Food: Small snacks are allowed-but don’t go crazy here. No one wants to use a greasy computer mouse. No one.
Drinks: Coffee becomes its own food group during finals week, just make sure it’s covered.
Computers & Printing: Forgot to print out your final paper? We’ve all been there. Head to the computers on the 1st, 2nd and 4th floor Library North, and access a printer anywhere between the 1st and 4th Floors Library North. Click here for information on wireless printing.
Sleeping: Sleep is great, everyone loves it. But it’s so much nicer to sleep in your own warm bed AND you don’t have to worry about your stuff being taken or loud noises. If you need to take a quick nap, head to the TSU.
For more information about 24/7 study, see the library 24/7 Study Guidelines.
For another study location that is open during 24/7 Study, check out the All Night Study at the TSU.
Library Extended Hours are due to Student Success Initiatives (SSI) Funding since Fall 2014.
