Despite Earthquake Closures, Pollak Library Offers More Study Space for Finals than Ever Before

Fall 2014 Finals - More Study SpacesThe Pollak Library would like to extend a thank you to campus partners who are collaborating with us to provide CSUF students additional study space this semester for the week before and during final exams. Despite much of the south wing of the Library being closed due to earthquake repairs and extended renovations, the assistance of these campus partners has allowed us to offer students more study space than ever before!

  • The Pollak Library:
    • General Study Areas: 154 extra seats added for finals.
    • Temporary Use of 4 Instruction & Meeting Rooms: 132 extra seats.
  • Titan Bookstore, Athletics, College of Communications: 338 extra seats.
  • Irvine Campus: 64 extra seats.

Locations, dates, and times available for these additional spaces and study hours can be viewed on our announcement from last week, including other student resources with extended hours.

Best of luck to all Titans on your finals!

Yes, seats, thanks — but when can we have access to actual, you know, BOOKS. This is a library. I can sit anywhere, but what I really need for “student success” is books.
Couldn’t the books have been moved into these spaces? English majors don’t need finals study space, we need books to write final papers. Books, from our library.
