Pollak Library Aquires New Business Databases

Posted in Academic Communities, Academic Disciplines, Business & IT, Faculty, General News, Library Collections, Library Research, Library Tools, and Students

The Pollak Library is pleased to announce subscriptions to three new business databases.

IBISWorld provides in-depth analyses of over 1300 industries in the United States, including smaller niche industries such as nail salons and pizza restaurants. Each industry profile is 30-40 pages long and includes a broad overview, forecasts, competitive analysis, and statistics. A list of Key Success Factors (KSFs) is provided for each industry in the Competitive Landscape section.

To make room for the larger collection of industry profiles in IBISWorld, the Pollak Library no longer subscribes to Standard & Poor’s Netadvantage Industry Surveys.

RMA eStatement Studies

RMA EStatement Studies is the online edition of the essential business reference source, Annual Statement Studies. These reports provide benchmarks and financial ratios for thousands of industries in the United States, classified by NAICS codes. Current national data is available for every industry, and, depending on the industry, up to 10 years of historical and regional data may also be available.

EStatement Studies can be accessed through the library catalog by searching for Annual Statement Studies, then click on Access on Internet.
