Meditate in the Library on Mindful Mondays

flower

It seems like we hear stories about meditation in the news with increasing frequency but for many of us the practice is still a mystery.  If you would like to learn more about meditation, join us at the Pollak Library for Mindful Mondays. You will have the opportunity to learn and practice meditation. Meditation can help you manage stress and you provide the opportunity to rejuvenate. There is a growing body of evidence documenting the benefits of meditation and companies like Google are even training there staff in meditation techniques.

Date: Beginning Monday, February 28th and continuing through the Spring 2013 semester

Time: 11:15 to 11:45

Location: Pollak Library in PLN 130
*If a room scheduling conflict occurs, we will do walking meditation and meet outside the Pollak Library atrium art gallery. A known conflict is on March 25th so make sure to bring your walking shoes.

I’m so excited about this! I’m on leave this semester, but will join your meditation group in the fall. Is there a place to sign up for a reminder?
