Posted in About the Library, Academic Communities, Faculty, General News, Library Research, Library Services, Students, and Visiting the Library

The Pollak Library is joining libraries across the state in participating in Snapshot: One Day in the Life of California Libraries this Thursday, October 7, 2010 to show how important academic, public, school, and special libraries and library systems are to the state of California. This Snapshot Day has been developed by the California Library Association (CLA).

On October 7th, the Pollak Library will compile statistics, customer comments, photographs, and other data chronicling a typical library day.  The results collected at the Pollak Library will be posted on our website and social media channels, and will also be added to those of other libraries across California, by CLA, to show how libraries provide invaluable services to California citizens.

Come and visit us in person or visit our web site at:!

The Library will open up submissions and post instructions at midnight Thursday morning on our website, blog, Facebook Page, and Twitter channel.

Thank you for your participation!
